We offer the latest version of the Australian Curriculum in a box.

Written for parents and carers.

There is a box for each year level from Prep / Reception to Year 6. Each box contains a Suite of Learning Guides for the core subjects:

English
Maths
Science
HASS (Humanities and Social Sciences i.e. History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship).

Each Learning Guide provides a series of learning goals aligned directly with the Curriculum plus recommended resources and bespoke learning activities. The Guides have been expressly designed to make homeschooling straight forward and enjoyable.

As parents and carers you can tailor homeschooling to maximise engagement and learning by using your unique knowledge of your child.
- Select and adapt activities to incorporate your child's interests,
- Choose resources you know they will engage with (fits their learning style).
Take learning with you out into the real world. Our Learning Guides come as a sturdy deck of A5 cards that you can put in your bag you head out the door. Many learning experiences and activities don't require you to be sitting at a table with a computer or pen and paper.
Reporting is easy. Simply send copies of Homeschool4me cards and samples of your child's work to the Education Department. You don't have to submit every card. Evidence of learning doesn't just have to be written work - you can send send photos or videos of your child working.

How it works

Background

Driven by a lifelong fascination with the human brain and a passion for supporting others, my career has evolved across psychology, human resources and education. I began in clinical psychology before moving into corporate human resource management, working across both public and private sectors in Sydney and London. After a career break while my children were very young, I retrained as a teacher. This decision that perfectly aligned with my personal and professional goals.

I have always been committed to meeting the individual needs of students. As a classroom teacher and Special Educational Needs (SEN) specialist I worked supporting children to realise their potential and experience success. Using individual interests and learning styles helps all students engage in learning, including students with a diagnosis e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dylexia, dysgraphia and Intellectual Disabilities (ID).

I founded Homeschool4me because it was apparent to me that:

Mainstream schooling doesn't suit everyone. Families choose homeschooling for a variety of reasons: families travelling, a need for more targeted learning, difficulties with noisy and overwhelming school environments, an inability of the school to meet individual needs, bullying and many more.

Classroom teachers undertake years of specialized training in the Australian Curriculum, learning theory and developmental psychology. Parents and carers who choose homeschooling are entitled to access to the Curriculum with guidance to age appropriate resources and activities, enabling them to deliver a quality education in a way that suits their family.

Homeschool4me's Learning Guides are my solution. Empowering you to harness your unique knowledge of your child - their learning style and interests - to educate them in accordance with the Australian Curriculum.
