How it works: Learning Guides

Each year level from Prep / Reception to Year 6 comes in a box containing a Learning Guide for each of the core subjects:

Learning Guides are a collection of sturdy A5 cards, each with three sections:

Learning Goals are directly aligned with the current Australian Curriculum, as indicated by the code beginning with AC9 (Australian Curriculum Version 9). Learning goals outline clear knowledge and / or skills, and are ordered in a logical sequence to build competence.
A variety of Resources are recommended including online games, YouTubes, websites, books, work examples, worksheets and PowerPoints. In addition to your core Learning Guides, the only outside resource we highly recommend is a Twinkl membership. A single subscription grants access to resources across all subjects and year levels. Twinkl offers three membership tiers with discounts for annual plans, helping you save both time and money. Please note that we have no affiliation with Twinkl.
Learning Activities are designed to be practical and engaging and can often be done while you are out and about. You can select and frequently adapt activities to incorporate your child's interests and fit their learning style.

Each Guide also contains a how to use section and a checklist to tick off as you complete Learning Goals.
