Assessment
Not sure what year level your child is at? Maybe they are operating below, at or above what is indicated for their age. Perhaps they are operating at different year levels in different subjects. We can assess your child's ability in English, Maths, Science and Humanities and ensure they are learning at the correct level for them.
Individualised curriculum
Once we have established the correct year level/s for your child we identify key learning areas in each subject area that meet curriculum requirements. We provide a variety of resources and activities so you can choose what will work for your child. Plus we give you ways to record what your child has learned to meet the requirements of the Education Department.
Tutoring
Have a fully qualified teacher work 1 : 1 with your child. You may choose for your child to have tutoring on a particular subject or a range of subjects. We offer tutoring in person at homeschool4me or online.
Reading
We can assess and record your child's current reading and comprehension abilities. Once your child's reading level is established, we can provide access to online books and other resources to develop skills in oral literacy, reading and writing.
Paperwork
We can help you with the paperwork for the Education Department, from applying to register for homeschooling to submitting evidence of learning.
Teach the Teacher
You may choose to have a fully qualified teacher observe you teaching your child and give you some strategies and techniques to enhance your teaching practise.
